Psyllium Husk
Dieticians all agree that we need to eat around 35 grams of fibre per day, to help keep an optimum digestive system. Yet the average consumption is just 15 grams per day. Psyllium Husk is an excellent form of natural soluble fibre for those who need that extra to supplement their diet, or for those with a food intolerance who would otherwise avoid other sources of fibre. Psyllium’s hydrophilic (water loving) nature gives it superb bowel-regulatory properties. Its gentle actions allow for a smooth, natural transit of waste from the body. In addition, because Psyllium is metabolized in the colon, it does not interfere with the body’s ability to absorb nutrients and minerals.
Fructo-Oligosaccharides (FOS)
FOS are derived from certain fruits and vegetables, such as artichokes and chicory. They are another excellent form of fibre, whilst most prized for their ability to sustain the friendly bacteria within the digestive system. FOS are classed as a probiotic for this reason.
Friendly Bacteria
Dygecol contains 7 strains of beneficial bacteria, which are necessary in your body’s ability to perform the tasks of nutrition, absorption and waste disposal. This is essential if we are to maintain a healthy digestive system. Just one serving of Dygecol introduces over one billion probiotic cultures, helping to crowd out the bad bacteria, thus boosting the immune system.
Digestive Enzymes
A unique blend of naturally occurring enzymes, which help break down the food we eat, aiding the natural nutrient absorption process. Dygecol is free of Wheat, Corn, Yeast, Oats, Phytate, Gluten, and is dairy and GM free. It does not contain artificial preservatives or ingredients.
Suggested intake: Adults: Mix one (5g) or two (10g) heaped teaspoons in 250ml or 500ml of water or fruit juice, followed by a further glass of water or juice. Remember to allow 250ml of liquid per 5g serving. This can be taken twice daily. For optimum results take half an hour before food. This intake may be halved after two weeks. Children: One heaped teaspoon (5g) in 250ml of water or juice twice daily. For optimum results take half an hour before food. In all cases never take Dygecol without plenty of water or fruit juice. Once opened, please refrigerate. Do not freeze.

If at any time you experience discomfort after taking this product, simply reduce the intake until these symptoms disappear. You may then gradually increase your intake again.
